Visit the birthplace and childhood home of one of Canada’s most eminent citizens who raised the level of education for girls. Hunter Hoodless is also credited with co-founding the National Council of Women, the Victorian Order of Nurses, the Women’s Institute and the YWCA. The homestead depicts life in mid-19th century rural Ontario, with Victorian gardens, guided tours and picnic shelter "A perfect visit back in time". Wheelchair accesible on first floor.
