                                                                                             It was here on July 26, 1874, overlooking the bluffs of the Grand River, that Alexander Graham Bell changed the world of communications forever.  Carefully restored as it was in Bell's day, this National Historic Site includes an extensive collection of the Bell family furnishings.  Experience the lifestyle led by this conservative Scottish and English family.

Some argue that the telephone was born in Boston but Alexander Graham Bell confirmed that the telephone was conceived in Brantford.  You're invited to visit the sites that played a role in its creation.
