Doors Open Brant News - 2010

Our attendance for our 8th year of Doors Open Brant was 3,013 visits last year.   We were delighted with this tremendous response from local and out-of-town visitors.

Last year Kayanase Greenhouses ran an educational classroom program for the Gr. 3's at James Hillier Public School on the Wednesday before our event which everyone enjoyed.

Our Visitor Surveys were available at each of our 15 sites.  Volunteers at each site encouraged visitors to complete the surveys to gather statistics for this event.  There were 7 draws from site donations for Doors Open Brant event as an incentive for returning our survey.  Lucky winners came from Burford, Woodstock, London, Hamilton and two from Brantford.

 

Community News - 2010

We would like to congratulate all the finalists that were nominated for this year's Citizen of the Year Award.  A special congratulations to Noreen Newton who won the Citizen of the Year Award for her community involvement.  Noreen is one of many who volunteer for our Doors Open Brant event.
