Paris Baptist Church

Sat. Sept. 24, 2011                    From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The congregation was formed in 1843 and built their first church on Bobby West Street.  Later they commissioned John Turner to design a larger church dowtown.  The building cost $15,000.00 and was opened debt free in October 1885.  Features of the church include the "Good Shepherd" window, the Peguegnat clock, the organ and the balcony that was added later.
