The Sanderson Centre is one of the finest heritage theatres in Canada.  Opened in 1919 as the Temple theatre and designed by the renowned Scottish architectThomas Lamb, the building was originally a vaudeville and silent movie house.  In 1991, the centre won the prestigious Thetre Preservation Award, presented by the League of Historic American Theatres.
