Celebrating 100 years! The congregation was established in 1911 with services first held in St. Basil"s Roman Catholic Church. In 1917, a building was bought at this site for $6,000. from J. D. Watkins, to house the church. In February 1929, fire destroyed it. Undaunted, parishioners raised funds to rebuild that year. The present hall was added in 1972. Today, the church, with its gold clad domes, stained glass windows and beautiful hand painted icons on walls, ceiling and iconostasis remains an architectural treasure.
